Workforce & Business Development

  • New Mexico Works Program
    Helping New Mexico families acquire employment skills needed for financial advancement by supporting participants in obtaining and retaining employment
  • Center for North American Studies
    The CNAS is working to develop cooperative linkages with other universities with internationally recognized agricultural programs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico to study, conduct research, and provide training on a broad range of agricultural issues.
  • Food Technology
    Assists food producers by providing information on food regulations and with services such as process review of acidified foods and analysis for nutritional labeling.

    The Mission of the community resource and economic development program of the NMSU-CES is to promote and support the economic development of New Mexico's diverse communities. Its goals are to provide NMSU-CES county extension agents and local community leaders with relevant research-based knowledge and information, education programs, and professional development training to achieve community and regional economic development.
